| CTC extends run of 'Romeo and Juliet' | |
For Immediate Release NARRAGANSET - By popular demand, the Contemporary Theater Company has scheduled an additional weekend of performances of its four-person "Romeo and Juliet." Originally slated to close on March 6, this unique production at The Towers in Narragansett will now close on March 12. To accommodate crowds, the company has added two showings: March 11 and March 12 at 7 p.m. in addition to the previously scheduled shows on March 4 and March 5 at 7 p.m. and March 6 at 2 p.m. "It is honor for any show to receive as warm a reception as we have," said Artistic Director Christopher J. Simpson, who also performs in the show. "With audiences growing every night and several tremendously positive reviews bringing in more patrons nightly, I am confident in our decision to extend the run of this show." Besides Simpson, the play features Amy Lee Connell, Shawn Fennell and Nevan Richard. Each plays multiple roles in a unique telling of this timeless William Shakespeare story. Tickets are $15. The Towers is located 35 Ocean Road, Narragansett, R.I. and is handicapped accessible. More information is available at www.TheContemporaryTheater.com or by calling (401) 218-0282. |
