Kevin Killavey studied theater performance at Bristol Community College under Rylan Brenner and at Rhode Island College under Jamie Taylor and Bob Colonna. Kevin is from Portsmouth, Rhode Island and works in Newport as an active member of Rhode Island's most-popular Improv troupe, The Bit Players. Kevin continues to travel to New York for work often, and is happy making a living as an actor and is glad to have found a theater he can call home in The CTC. Kevin has worked for theaters all around New England, including The Winnipesaukee Playhouse (Laconia, NH), The Newport Playhouse (Newport, RI) The Community Players (Pawtucket, RI), Little Theater of Fall River (Fall River, MA), Roger Williams Summer Theater (Bristol, RI), and the CTC. As an actor Kevin has been nominated four times for The Irene Ryan Award and has won the Motif Award for Best College Performance, and has won awards for Best Improve Troupe and Best Comedy Night as a member of The Bit Players. Kevin also has worked on many films, including getting top billing in the recent film The Cost of The Living: A Zom Rom Com, which premiered in New London and will be seen at film festivals all over the country in 2012. Acting in Red Herring, Eurydice and Mrs. Bob Cratchit's Wild Christmas Binge as well as being on the writing team for The CTC original piece Your Friends and Neighbors Present The Last Happy Night of Your Life.
